You have full control over your personal data. Below are the ways you can view, modify, delete, and control how your information is used within Hearts for Paws.
You can view and update your profile information — including your name, email, and contact details — at any time from the Settings page within the app. Any listings you've created (lost/found pet reports, shelter registrations, help requests) can also be edited directly from their respective pages.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — including your profile, pet listings, help requests, and shelter registrations — at any time from the Settings → Danger Zone section within the app. This action is irreversible. You may also revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
Location: Location access is optional and only used to find nearby shelters, vets, and services. You can grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.
Photos: Photos are only uploaded when you choose to attach them to a listing (e.g., a lost/found pet report). You can delete any listing — and its associated photo — at any time.
Contact details: Your contact information is only shared when you voluntarily post a listing or register a shelter. You can remove your contact details at any time by editing or deleting the listing.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
